A digital certificate is an official, secure electronic document that evidences a candidate’s achievement in a Trinity College London exam. It looks the same and carries the same format and validity as a traditional paper certificate but offer many additional benefits to candidates:
A digital badge is a secure, visual symbol of a candidate’s achievement in a Trinity College London exam. It is linked directly to their digital certificate and includes verified details such as the subject, level, date of achievement and result.
Digital badges are designed to be easily shared and celebrated. Candidates can embed their badge in CVs, LinkedIn profiles, digital portfolios, email signatures or on social media. This makes it simple for learners to showcase their skills and stand out in university, college or job applications.

As a Registered Exam Centre, you can highlight the value of digital badges to your candidates as part of their Trinity exam - helping them to celebrate success and support future progression.
Accredible is the leading platform for creating, issuing and managing secure digital certificates and badges and is the trusted platform that Trinity uses to offer this service.
When a candidate passes a Trinity exam, they (or their parent/guardian) will receive an email from Trinity with a link to their official digital certificate and badge. This will take them to the Accredible platform, where their certificate and badge are securely stored online.
Here they have the option to create an Accredible account to unlock extra features - like sharing their certificate or badge on social media, LinkedIn, on their CV or in emails.
It is possible to purchase a printed certificate if candidates would like a hard copy (please note this option is not available for digital music theory exams). The same high quality and content of our paper certificates have not changed. When a candidate receives their digital certificate, they will also get instructions on how to order a paper version if they want one.
Trinity Registered Exam Centres can also purchase paper certificates for individual candidates or groups who took their exams at the centre.
How can Registered Exam Centres purchase paper certificates?
So that we can securely delivery the digital certificate and badge directly to candidates, a valid personal email address must be entered for each candidate during the enrolment process.
The email address must belong to the candidate. Where a candidate is under 18, a parent or guardian’s email address must be provided instead.
You must not provide any other email address such as one belonging to the centre, a teacher or any other member of staff. Providing an incorrect or inappropriate email address may result in the candidate’s certificate being delayed.
